Job summary

Just 4 U Beauty Limited in Wellington, North Island, is seeking a full-time nail technician to perform consultations, nail prep, manicures/pedicures with gel options, and nail art for a diverse client base. You will maintain hygiene, assist with product orders, and build lasting client relationships.

The role requires at least two years of experience, flexibility to work late nights, weekends, and holidays, and NZ citizenship or residency.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant work experience
• Experience in manicure, pedicure with normal/gel polish, gel builder, SNS powder, nail design and acrylic
• Eyelash extensions experience is an advantage but not essential
• Full-time availability, able to work late nights, weekends and public holidays
• NZ citizens/residents; no criminal record

Responsibilities

• Perform consultations and suggest services to clients
• Maintain a clean workstation
• Clean and shape clients' finger and toenails
• Remove old polish and prep nails for services
• Perform hand and foot massages
• Trim nails and push back cuticles
• Recommend products and treatments to clients
• Apply nail art and rhinestones to nails
• Comply with health and safety standards
• Apply nail polish and airbrush designs
• Maintain inventory of nail salon products
• Sanitize equipment and tools between clients
• Apply various types of artificial nails
• Evaluate nails and advise care tips and services
• Assist with product orders as needed
• Develop strong relationships with clients to promote return visits
• Any other duties reasonably required by employer

• Performing consultations and suggesting services to clients
• Maintaining a clean workstation
• Cleaning and shaping client's finger and toenails
• Removing old polish and preparing nails for services
• Performinghand and foot massages
• Trimming nails and pushing back cuticles
• Recommending products and treatments to clients
• Applyingnail art and rhinestones to client's nails
• Complying with all health and safety standards
• Applying nail polish and airbrush designs
• Maintaining an inventory of nail salon products
• Sanitizing equipment and tools between each client
• Applying various types of artificial nails
• Evaluating client's finger and toenails and advising them on care tips and useful services/products
• Assisting with product orders when needed
• Developing strong relationships with clients to keep them coming back
• Any other duties the employer reasonably may require employee to perform

Pay rate:from $29.66/hour to $32.00/hour

Guaranteed hours of work per week: minimum of30hours per week.
