Job summary

Marist College in Auckland is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated music teacher to lead the school's arts program for secondary students (Years 7–15 and wharekura). The successful applicant will teach music, support NCEA up to Level 3 scholarship, and contribute to a well‑resourced department with a recording studio.

The role includes involvement in extracurricular activities, adapting to the new curriculum changes, and upholding the Special Catholic Character of the College.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Marist College is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and dynamic music teacher.

We have a well-resourced music department including a recording studio. Small classes with highly motivated and talented students. This person needs to be able to teach NCEA to Level 3 scholarship and be motivated to implement the new curriculum changes.

This is a great opportunity for a teacher who has a passion for music and wants to make this their focus.

Involvement in extracurricular activities will be expected. This is a non-tagged position.
