Job summary

WM New Zealand is seeking a high-performing Contracts Manager to lead the Municipal operation in the Auckland region. You will work with the regional management team to drive operational excellence and safety across multiple sites and fleets.

In this role you will manage site and employee performance, financial targets and budgets, while maintaining strong relationships with a municipal partner and key commercial customers. A company vehicle is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience managing mid-sized teams.
• Ability to communicate at all levels of the business.
• Experience interpreting P&L and variances.
• Exposure to transport, logistics or waste industry preferred.
• High level of business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational and financial management of multiple sites and teams.
• Lead safety culture and ensure a safe workplace.
• Manage employees, vehicles, site maintenance and compliance.
• Meet financial targets and budgets; monitor variances.
• Collaborate with municipal partner and major customers; travel within region.
