Job summary

Body in Motion in New Plymouth is seeking a dedicated Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist to assess, treat, and rehabilitate clients, helping them return to work, sport, and daily life with confidence.

You will deliver evidence-based treatment plans, document outcomes, and collaborate with funders, GPs, and other providers. A strong focus on patient-centred care, teamwork, and ongoing professional development is essential.

Qualifications

• Hold a current tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy.
• Have (or are eligible to obtain) a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC) and PNZ membership.
• Hold a clean, full New Zealand driver’s license.
• Be passionate about patient-centred care and helping others achieve their goals.
• Are a team player who’s motivated to continue learning and developing.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, and rehabilitate patients.
• Develop and deliver evidence-based treatment plans.
• Complete clinical documentation and treatment notes accurately.
• Communicate with funders (e.g. ACC, insurers), GPs, and other providers.
• Stay current with new techniques, tools, and best practices.
