Job summary

Align International Recruitment Ltd. seeks a Consultant Radiologist with expertise in MSK or Nuclear Medicine for New Plymouth, New Zealand. The role covers radiology service provision, reporting, and education across multiple branches.

The candidate should hold Radiology Board certification and NZ Specialist Registration (or overseas equivalent), with active CPD participation and indemnity insurance. Interventional, MRI/CT and general radiology experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Radiology Board certification in home country.
• Specialist Registration with NZMC or overseas equivalent for NZ Specialist radiologist.
• Current medical indemnity insurance.
• Participate in the RANZCR CPD programme.
• Demonstrated clinical competence in general radiology with experience in other modalities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provision of effective and efficient radiology services.
• Produce accurate radiology reports within agreed time frames.
• Compliance with the Practice Radiologists manual.
• Clinical coverage shared on a rostered basis at multiple branches.
• Ensure adherence to accreditation protocols.
• Support education programs and supervise radiology staff.
• Instruct and mentor radiology staff and referring practitioners.
• Participate in continuing medical education.
