Job summary

Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand is seeking candidates for a fixed-term MRI Postgraduate Diploma role based at Christchurch Health Campus. The program includes practical MRI training with on-site duties and some university requirements, offering a comprehensive patient-centered imaging experience.

Successful applicants will work full-time, with duties across MRI operations, image quality, and workload management while completing the diploma.

Responsibilities

Ensure the MRI scanner operates effectively and efficiently.
Produce high standard image quality.
Manage a daily and weekly workload across multiple MRI scanners.
Have a strong focus for patient care and workflow.
Deliver a patient-focused service, with a best for patient - best for system approach.
Demonstrate a commitment to professional development and knowledge sharing.
