Job summary

Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) is seeking a dedicated Recovery Coordinator within Supported Recovery in Gisborne, NZ. You will coordinate rehabilitation plans, remove barriers to recovery, and support clients to achieve greater independence and, where appropriate, return to work.

The role offers Level 1 or Level 2 appointment bands based on experience, with a salary range and excellent benefits. Applicants must have NZ work rights and a commitment to equitable, client-centered outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, relationship management, case management, rehabilitation, health, wellbeing or social service environments.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust with clients, whānau, providers and employers.
• Excellent organisation and time management to handle competing priorities.
• Sound problem-solving and decision-making ability and resilience.
• Eligibility to work in New Zealand at the time of application.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate rehabilitation plans and remove barriers to recovery.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients requiring ongoing support.
• Collaborate with whānau, providers and employers to support meaningful recovery.
• Assist in returning suitable clients to work where appropriate.
