Job summary

A hospitality business in Tauranga seeks an enthusiastic F&B Supervisor to join their friendly team. Responsibilities include serving clients, setting up the boardroom, and maintaining cleanliness. Candidates should have a passion for customer service, experience in a supervisory role, and ideally possess an LCQ and/or Supervisors Permit. Hotel Armitage and Conference Centre - F&B Supervisor

Hotel Armitage and also Meeting Centre is embedded in the gorgeous Bay of Plenty, Tauranga. Located in the heart of Tauranga and minutes to the Mount, enjoying the best of what our area is famous for. Stunning coastlines and wonderful lifestyles. Hotel Armitage is currently looking for an enthusiastic F & B Supervisor to join our friendly team!

To succeed with your application, you should be able to accomplish the following duties:

  • Welcome and serve clients in the restaurant and bar
  • Address visitors’ demands immediately and in a professional way
  • Set up of the boardroom and servicing them; have an eye for detail
  • Work with checklists and any equipment created to meet your jobs
  • Ensure you are fully oriented prior to service in relation to anticipated levels of service, peak service times, special occasions and meetings
  • Keep the restaurant/bar/conference area spick-and-span as well as the kitchen (including cleaning dishes)

Needs: An enthusiasm for customer service is a must. Preferably you have your LCQ and/or Supervisors Permit. Knowledge and experience of the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act, Food Health, Safety and Security. A wonderful attitude and a love of hospitality. You need to be positive, a team player and versatile in your role. Experience in a Supervisor/Team Leader function. Capacity to motivate, coach and advise the team.
