Job summary

Automotive Employment NZ Ltd. is assisting a well-established New Zealand automotive workshop to recruit a mobile technician across Wellington and other regions.

You will install and commission vehicle technology, including safety systems, cameras, fleet management solutions, accessories and specialist aftermarket equipment. Take ownership of a varied role as you work across different vehicles, manage your own jobs, and support commercial and fleet customers.

Qualifications

• Experience fitting accessories or aftermarket products in automotive settings.
• Proven hands-on mechanical/auto electrical experience on a range of vehicles.
• Good communication and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission vehicle technology including safety systems, cameras, fleet management solutions, accessories and specialist aftermarket equipment.
• Manage your own jobs and support commercial and fleet customers across your region.
• Take your automotive skills into a specialist, technology-driven field as a mobile technician.
