Job summary

Asahi Beverages Group in Dunedin is seeking a part-time Merchandiser to bring iconic brands to life across our Dunedin network. 32 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with travel between stores and occasional 6am starts. Own vehicle and current driver licence required.

You will ensure products are available, presented and promoted, build displays to planograms, and share customer feedback with the sales team. The role offers training, autonomy and clear career pathways with Asahi Beverages.

Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG, merchandising, retail or hospitality is advantageous.
• Current driver licence and own vehicle required.
• Ability to travel between Dunedin outlets and occasionally start early.

Bring iconic beverage brands to life across Dunedin in a flexible role with training, autonomy and clear career pathways

We\'re looking for a part-time Merchandiser to work 32 hours across Monday to Friday. This role plays an important part in bringing the Asahi Beverages portfolio to life across our Dunedin customer network.

You will help ensure our products are available, professionally presented and promotionally compliant, while building strong in-store relationships and sharing valuable customer feedback with the sales team. Your day-to-day execution will directly support product visibility, customer experience and sales performance across assigned outlets.

The role covers outlets across Dunedin so you will use your own vehicle and current driver licence to travel between stores, with occasional early starts (6am) for display builds.

Key responsibilities

In this hands-on role, you will deliver high-quality in-store execution across assigned outlets. Your role will see you responsible for:

• Keeping products available, professionally presented and correctly ranged.
• Building and maintaining fridges, chillers and floor displays to planogram standards.
• Completing pricing, product rotation, date checks and point-of-sale execution.
• Supporting promotions, product launches, sampling and tastings in store.
• Building strong store relationships and share customer feedback with the sales team.

About You

You are reliable, customer-focused and comfortable working independently. You genuinely enjoy building relationships with staff and customers alike and are ready to get stuck into a practical role. We\'re looking for local\'s with:

• A current driver licence, your own vehicle and confidence travelling between stores.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivation, adaptability and effective time management.
• The ability to safely complete manual handling and display-building tasks.
• FMCG, merchandising, retail or hospitality experience is advantageous.
