Job summary

DKSH is seeking a Merchandiser to drive growth by maintaining compelling in-store presence in the Wellington & Hutt Valley region. The role covers 11.75 hours per week across Ferrero brands, focusing on stock availability, placement, and timely shelf resets to maximize product visibility.

You will collaborate with store teams, escalate issues promptly, and adapt to flexible hours to support on-shelf execution and market presence.

Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG merchandising preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Physically able to lift, move stock and work on ladders.
• Strong communication and customer service focus.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet high standards.
• Basic email and smartphone use.

Responsibilities

• Maintain strong in-store availability and freshness through stock rotation.
• Ensure accurate display builds with correct placement, signage and ticketing.
• Execute calls within defined call cycle and record store visits.
• Communicate stock issues and out-of-stock situations to the Territory Manager.
• Build positive relationships with store buyers and in-store contacts.
• Provide flexible in-store support including relay, early starts, late finishes and POS material.

About the Role

The Merchandiser keeps DKSH products looking their best on shelf, ensuring strong availability, correct placement, and a compelling in-store presence across a defined call cycle. We are looking for Merchandiser to work 11.75 hours per week in the Wellington & Hutt Valley region - this is across our Ferrero side of the business.

What You Will Deliver

• Strong in-store availability and freshness through consistent stock rotation and timely escalation of near-to-date stock
• Accurate, on-time display builds with correct positioning, signage, and ticketing across all store visits
• Reliable call cycle execution with store sign-in and sign-out procedures followed at every visit
• Proactive communication with the Territory Manager on out-of-stock situations and store-level issues
• Positive relationships with store buyers and in-store contacts that support DKSH's presence and reputation
• Flexible in-store support including relay assistance, early starts, and late finishes, and Point of Sale (POS) material management as required

What You Bring

• Previous Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) merchandising experience is desirable
• A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
• Physical fitness to lift product, work on ladders, and move stock in-store
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
• Ability to work under pressure and to a high standard
• Basic tech skills including email and smartphone use
