Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Waitematā is seeking a Medical Imaging Technologist for North Shore Hospital. The role is a fixed-term parental leave cover at 1 FTE (80 hours per fortnight) in General X-ray, with varied radiology work.

You will join a busy Radiology service equipped with DR X-ray rooms, Ultrasound and CT, and a dedicated PACS team. Applicants require a Bachelor of Health Science in Medical Imaging, MRTB registration, and the ability to work autonomously or in a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Health Science in Medical Imaging.
• Registration with the NZ Medical Radiation Technologists Board.
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team.

Responsibilities

• Undertake radiological procedures in General X-ray.
• Look after patient comfort and welfare during procedures.
• Work within a busy radiology service with DR X-ray rooms, Ultrasound and CT, supported by a PACS team.
