We are seeking a NZ Registered MIT to join our supportive, enthusiastic, and professional Radiology team at Rotorua Hospital, Bay of Plenty, New Zealand. The positions would suit experienced MITs, or new graduate MITs. If you are a dynamic, critical‑thinking MIT come and try Rotorua Radiology Department for size. You will be required to participate in the out‑of‑hours evening and weekend shift roster with overnight cover coming from an on‑call service.
Rotorua Radiology boasts a modern department with 4 DR rooms, two DR mobiles and two flat‑panel C‑arms, digital fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, and ultrasound services. We are a friendly and social team with a great working environment.
The successful candidate will be working across the general X‑ray department and taking part in the shift and on‑call roster. You must hold a current Annual Practicing Certificate, or have applied for registration with the New Zealand Medical Radiations Technologists Board. Be a good team player, friendly and approachable, flexible, able to work under pressure and communicate well with others. Able to work autonomously and independently and demonstrate critical thinking. Engagement in continued professional development and have a passion for the role. CT experience is a bonus but not essential.
