South Otago High School is seeking a motivated mathematics teacher to join our staff for 2027 on a permanent appointment. The successful applicant will join our collegial staff team working to ensure that students are successful.

We welcome applications from both experienced and beginning teachers and have a great support system for teachers new to the profession. You would become part of our welcoming community and contribute to a strong mathematics program.

Qualifications

• Must be a certificated teacher.
• Experience welcomed for both new and experienced teachers.

Responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics and Statistics to secondary students (Years 7–15).
• Collaborate with staff to support student success and a positive learning environment.
• Contribute to the school community and mentorship for new teachers.
