• MS or PhD in Mathematics or related field required.
• BS in Mathematics or related field with strong relevant experience acceptable.
• Expertise in at least one mathematical area (applied mathematics, numerical analysis, optimization, probability, statistics, discrete math, algebra, geometry, mathematical modeling, or dynamical systems).
• Experience with Python and programmatic mathematical software (SymPy, SageMath, SciPy, CVXPY, NumPy, Octave, Julia or similar).

Position: Mathematics Expert

Type: Contract

Compensation: $60 - $120/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week

Requirements

• An MS or PhD in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computational Science, Theoretical Computer Science, or a closely related quantitative field.
• A BS in Mathematics or a closely related quantitative field plus strong relevant experience in mathematics-focused professional or research roles.
• Strong expertise in at least one mathematical area, such as applied mathematics, numerical analysis, optimization, probability, statistics, discrete mathematics, algebra, geometry, mathematical modeling, or dynamical systems.
• Experience with Python and programmatic mathematical software such as SymPy, SageMath, SciPy, CVXPY, NumPy, GNU Octave, Julia, or similar tools.
