You’ll work across all our platforms, teaming up with our Senior Marketing Managers to roll out campaigns that get people talking. If you’re creative, organised, and keen to make an impact—this could be your next big gig.

The opportunity – Te tūranga

Working across TVNZ’s platforms, you will support the Senior Marketing Managers to deliver marketing campaigns of some of our biggest entertainment shows and worldwide sporting events as well as our news and current affairs content.

Your focus will be on

  • Use data and insights to develop briefs for priority campaigns that include clear marketing objectives and metrics.
  • Run motivating briefings to internal and external teams – Publicity, Creative, Digital, Publishing, Media – to get the best outcomes for the campaign.
  • Deliver feedback with clarity and sensitivity to ensure the campaign idea and touch points deliver to your brief and the brand.
  • Run stakeholder feedback sessions (internal and external) and champion your campaign throughout the business.
  • Monitor campaign performance and optimise campaigns fluidly.

This is a nine month ffiixed term contract.

To be successful in this role, we are looking for

  • A minimum of 3-5 years industry experience in marketing roles with a passion and knowledge for digital, social media, sport and entertainment. You’ll have strong understanding of our varied content, ideally with a particular interest and understanding of entertainment.
  • Strong analytical skills. You’ll be able to understand and communicate what makes content appealing to various segments of our audience. Your approach will be insight driven and reinforce strategic thinking throughout the creative process.
  • A motivational communicator and a consummate team player and collaborator.
  • Great personal organisation and time management skills. You’ll be able to work well under stress and pressure, with good attention to detail and accuracy. A clear and confident decision maker.
  • A genuine appreciation for the creative process and ability to create an environment, working process and working relationships that empowers others and fosters creativity.
