Job summary

Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities in Auckland is seeking a Manager – Community Engagement and Partnerships to lead a high performing team dedicated to strengthening relationships with communities and regional stakeholders.

You will develop regional plans, provide strategic advice, oversee engagement and placemaking strategies, and collaborate with iwi, NGOs and government partners to shape housing outcomes for New Zealanders. Based in South Auckland, travel across the region is likely.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience leading management and professional teams in a demanding environment.
• Experience collaborating with the Auckland community and regional networks.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high performing team dedicated to strengthening relationships with communities and regional stakeholders.
• Provide strategic advice to identify and prioritise key regional relationships and reflect community needs in Regional Plans.
• Oversee regional engagement, community development and placemaking strategies and monitor engagement effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Te Kurutao Regional Managers to support iwi and hapū engagement and housing supply planning.
