Job summary

The University of Auckland invites applications for a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Management Accounting in the Accounting and Finance Department at the Auckland City Campus. The role focuses on teaching intermediate and advanced management accounting at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, advancing research, and contributing to a vibrant academic community.

Qualifications

• PhD in Financial Accounting or related discipline (or nearing completion).
• Experience delivering undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
• Publications in top-ranked journals (ABDC A* or A, AJG 4*, 4 or 3-ranked).
• Ability to attract funding from internal and external reputable funding schemes.
• Designing curriculum (part or entire course/programme).
• Experience supervising PhD and Masters students to completion in a relevant discipline.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to excellence in research and teaching.
