Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Te Toka Tumai Auckland is seeking an MRI Trainee to specialise in MRI and train alongside experienced professionals in a supportive environment.

You will rotate across four magnets at three leading sites and enrol in the Postgraduate Diploma in MRI, joining a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team with protected study time.

Qualifications

• Qualified Medical Imaging Technologist (MIT) with genuine interest in MRI.
• Thrives in a learning environment with high standards of patient care.

About the Role

Are you ready to specialise in one of the most advanced and rewarding areas of medical imaging? Were inviting expressions of interest from MITs who are passionate about developing their skills in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). This is an exciting opportunity to train alongside experienced professionals in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.

As an MRI Trainee, you will:

• Train across four magnets at three leading sites: Auckland City Hospital, Greenlane Clinical Centre, and Starship
• Rotate through all key areas of MRI: Neuro, MSK, Body, Vascular, and ORL
• Work as part of a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team
• Enrol in and complete the Postgraduate Diploma in MRI
