Job summary

Dt Hort Limited in Tauranga, New Zealand, is seeking Machinery Operators for a full-time permanent role to operate and maintain orchard machinery, including tractors, and to perform routine maintenance.

You will also perform repairs, assist in procuring new machinery, complete paperwork, and ensure the highest quality of work while working independently to meet deadlines. The role requires Level 4 qualification or three years' experience, strong communication, and multitasking abilities.

We are looking for Machinery Operators for our busy horticulture business. This is a full-time permanent position and will consist of operating and maintaining orchard machinery.

To be considered for this position you’ll have at least a qualification at Level 4 or above or at least three years of work experience. You should have excellent communication skills (both written and spoken) and be able to work independently to reach goals. You must be able to multitask and will be able to complete work in set time frames.

You will be also expected to perform tasks such as operating and maintaining our orchard machinery including tractors, completing repair work and assisting in the procurement of new machinery, completing paperwork as required and ensuring the highest quality of work possible. You will be solely responsible for operating and maintaining orchard machinery.

This is a full time and permanent position offering at least 30 hours per week. We are offering a minimum payrate of $30.00 and a maximum of $30.00 for this position.
