Job summary

Absolute IT – Wellington Central, North Island seeks a Business Solutions Analyst to deliver hands-on support for Copilot, Power Automate, and Power Query as part of Enterprise AI adoption. The role is a 6-month fixed-term assignment within the Business Solutions team, partnering with stakeholders across Council and reporting to the Business Solutions Manager.

You will gather and validate requirements, shape fit-for-purpose solutions, and support implementation, developing low-code components

Qualifications

• Experience as a Technical Business Analyst or equivalent.
• Experience delivering Microsoft 365 solutions.
• Background in low-code environments for BA work.
• Familiar with Agile principles and their practical use.
• Delivery of business intelligence dashboards or BI output.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and validate business requirements.
• Develop low-code solution components and workflows.
• Support Copilot and Power Automate initiatives.
• Create documentation using Council templates.
• Manage project governance, risks, and reporting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Council teams.
