Job summary

Abano Healthcare Pty Ltd is looking for a locum dentist to join the well-established team at Lumino Oamaru, following a clinician's retirement. This role offers flexible working days and uncapped earning potential on commission.

Qualifications

• Qualified Dentist with ideally 2+ years of clinical experience.
• Registered or eligible for registration with the Dental Council of New Zealand (DCNZ).
• Hold a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC) or able to obtain one.
• A strong foundation in general dentistry with exposure to a wide range of procedures.
• Collaborative team player who values working with a supportive team.
• A commitment to delivering high-quality, ethical, and empathetic patient care.

Responsibilities

• Providing high-quality general and emergency dentistry, including restorative, preventive, and routine care.
• Carrying out treatment planning and supporting patient education.
• Working collaboratively with clinical and practice teams.
• Maintaining accurate clinical records in line with Dental Council of New Zealand (DCNZ) standards.
• Participating in continuing professional development throughout your placement.
