Job summary

Global Medics seeks an experienced Cardiologist for a locum in Masterton (Wairarapa) to cover sabbatical leave over three months. Full-time availability preferred but flexible options exist, including ~2 weeks per month.

The role combines inpatient and outpatient cardiology duties: triage of referrals, echocardiography reporting, Holter reporting, and two outpatient clinics weekly. Some on-call work may be required for longer placements.

Qualifications

• FRACP or equivalent and MCNZ registration eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Triage referrals and perform echocardiography reporting.
• Holter monitoring reporting.
• Two outpatient clinics per week; participate in DCCV as required.
• On-call duties may be included for longer placements.
