Job summary

Greenfingers is seeking a professional driver in Auckland to operate Class 2 vehicles and rear loaders. The role involves daily checks, logbook maintenance, and using mobile/tablet tech, with a Monday–Friday schedule plus rostered Saturdays.

You must be physically capable of manual work, have a current Class 2 licence, and be willing to learn in a safety‑driven Waste Industry environment.

Qualifications

• Current Class 2 licence held.
• Proven experience driving heavy vehicles safely.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual/physical work.
• Experience in the Waste Industry is advantageous.
• You are honest, willing to learn and able to work alone or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 2 Vehicles
• Operate rear loader or other required vehicles
• Monday to Friday with rostered Saturdays
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and maintain logs (Eroad/logbook)
• Use company technology confidently (tablet/mobile phone)
• Physically fit and undertake manual handling and yard-based tasks
• Adhere to all Health and Safety standards and procedures
