Job summary

Freight Haulage Ltd in Invercargill, Southland, New Zealand, is looking for an experienced Loader Operator to join our busy Stock Food operation. This full-time role requires safe, reliable teamwork and a hands-on approach to handling freight.

You will operate loaders, load/unload stock food products, perform daily equipment checks, and follow safety procedures. A forklift qualification and a Class 2 licence are essential, with a Wheels endorsement preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' loader operator experience.
• Forklift operation and freight-handling demonstrated.
• Current forklift operator qualification/licence.
• Current Wheels endorsement and Class 2 licence.
• Safe loading/unloading knowledge; good numeracy and communication.
• Ability to work safely, independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate loaders safely and efficiently.
• Load, unload, and move stock food products.
• Complete daily equipment checks and report faults.
• Maintain a safe and tidy work environment.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
• Assist with general yard duties as required.
