Looking for a supportive team environment to start your career? Passionate about customer service? Know your way around a keyboard? Thrive in a busy environment? This is a fixed term 3 month position.

Duties
  • assisting our legal secretaries and supporting the office.
  • setting up client files and collating legal documents.
  • processing client disclosure.
  • covering reception and a variety of general office administration tasks.

As a key team member at the PDS you will have access to an induction programme for PDS support staff. You will also be able to attend professional development opportunities across the Ministry.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to take instruction and follow through.
  • Expereince working to prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Initiative and a proactive approach.
  • Experience with one drive will be beneficial.

Whilst you may have already gained some experience in a professional environment that is customer driven, and been involved in general office administration tasks, this is a chance for you to get in at the 'ground floor' and establish a great career path for yourself, in the interesting area of criminal law.

Utu ā-tau/Salary

The appinting salary for this role will be $56,343 to $71,144 – while the appointing salary will be based on skills and experience, we are willing to pay higher in the band to attract strong candidates into this role.
