About the role
We're on the lookout for an experienced Legal Secretary to join a well-established and busy general practice law firm based on the Hibiscus Coast. This role will see you supporting a friendly and collaborative team, with a strong focus on residential conveyancing. From managing files and preparing legal documents to handling Landonline transactions and liaising with clients and agents, you'll be involved in all aspects of the conveyancing process.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and managing engagement letters, legal documentation, and correspondence
  • Handling Landonline transactions and preparing e-dealings for settlement
  • Liaising with clients, real estate agents, banks, and other relevant parties
  • Preparing invoices, settlement statements, and client statements
  • Managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and supporting general file/document management
  • Performing title searches and managing AML compliance documentation
  • File closing and general administrative support

Skills and Experience:


To thrive in this role, you will bring:

  • 3+ years' experience as a Legal Secretary within a general practice law firm
  • A solid understanding of conveyancing procedures and confidence using Landonline
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
  • A team-focused attitude and willingness to support others
  • Strong communication skills and a client-service mindset
