Job summary

PwC New Zealand is seeking a Learning Advisor for the Assurance Risk & Quality team. You will coordinate the delivery of PwC’s Global Audit Curriculum for 400+ Assurance people across five offices, from graduates through to partners.

You’ll manage logistics, administer our learning management system, and prepare compliance reporting that shows leaders our people meet learning requirements. This role suits an organized, data‑minded communicator who thrives on collaboration with offshore teams.

Qualifications

  • 1 to 2 years experience in coordination, administration, programme support, operations, or a similar role.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple programmes, deadlines, and stakeholders while keeping an eye on the details.
  • Confidence working with data and Excel, including maintaining reporting, analysing information, and identifying useful insights.
  • Experience with Power BI, Alteryx, Cornerstone OnDemand, or similar systems would be helpful, but is not essential.
  • Clear, friendly, and professional communication, with confidence following up with people at all levels.
  • The ability to work well with offshore or distributed teams.
  • High attention to detail across records, reporting, and compliance follow-up.
  • A proactive approach, with the ability to spot what needs doing and see tasks through.
  • An interest in data-led evaluation of learning impact, process improvement, automation, AI, and emerging technologies.
  • A collaborative mindset and a strong sense of shared accountability.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate end-to-end logistics for learning programmes, including scheduling, registrations, venues, catering, travel, and instructor coordination.
  • Administer Cornerstone OnDemand and Growth Centre, keeping learning assignments, attendance, and course records accurate.
  • Build and maintain compliance reporting on learning completions and overdue requirements using Excel, Power BI, and Alteryx.
  • Monitor completion data and follow up with learners, coaches, and team leaders ahead of key deadlines.
  • Act as a first point of contact for learning queries, including assignments, extensions, exemptions, and general support.
  • Partner with our Acceleration Centre in Manila and the PwC network to coordinate learning activity and resolve operational matters.
  • Turn learning data into clear reporting and insights for Assurance Learning, Methodology, and practice stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement of learning systems, processes, and documentation.
  • Help build eLearning modules in Articulate Rise or similar tools, where this aligns with your interest and capability.

Our Assurance Risk & Quality team is central to how we deliver high-quality audits, and learning plays an important part in that. As our Learning Advisor, you'll coordinate the delivery of PwC's Global Audit Curriculum for 400+ Assurance people across five offices, from graduates through to partners.

This is a coordination, systems and reporting role. You'll manage the logistics that help learning run smoothly, administer our learning management system, and prepare compliance reporting that gives our leaders confidence our people are meeting their learning requirements.

You'll work closely with the Assurance Learning and Methodology teams, People & Culture, instructors, our Acceleration Centre in Manila, and learners across the practice. Our busiest periods are January to April and September to November, when we prepare for and deliver most of our learning programmes .

You don't need to be a Chartered Accountant or come from a learning background. If you're highly organised , confident with data and systems, and enjoy keeping things moving, this could be a great fit.

Your day-to-day could include:
