Riccarton High School in Christchurch, New Zealand, invites applications for a Leader of Learning – Health and Physical Education. This is a full-time, fixed-term role to cover the current Leader while they undertake an external secondment.

Start date is 28 January 2027 and end date 27 January 2029. The successful candidate will lead HPE for Years 7–15 and wharekura, support high levels of achievement and wellbeing, and contribute to our collaborative culture built on The Riccarton Way values:

Formación

• Certificated teacher with NZ registration required.
• Experience leading Health and Physical Education in a secondary setting.
• Ability to teach across Years 7–15 and wharekura.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic educator to join our team as Leader of Learning – Health and Physical Education. This is a full-time, fixed-term position covering the current Leader of Learning while they undertake a two-year external secondment. The role will commence on 28 January 2027 and conclude at the end of the 2028 school year.
