Job summary

Animates Holdings NZ Ltd seeks an experienced Veterinary Director to provide clinical leadership across two Kapiti Coast clinics while remaining actively involved in patient care. This hands-on role includes mentoring staff, driving clinical excellence, and shaping the future of two established practices.

You'll be supported by Practice Managers, a clinical leadership network, and a national veterinary group focused on growth, wellbeing and excellence.

Qualifications

• NZVSB registration eligibility required.
• Significant companion animal clinical experience.
• Demonstrated commitment to patient care and clinical excellence.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to lead, mentor and develop teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality companion animal veterinary care across clinics.
• Lead veterinarians and nurses through coaching and clinical guidance.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and clinical excellence.
• Partner with Practice Managers to support clinic performance and growth.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives that enhance patient outcomes and client experience.
