Job summary

The Ministry for Cities, Environment, Regions and Transport (MCERT) is seeking a Lead Solution Architect to guide end-to-end solution architectures across a portfolio of initiatives. You will provide technical leadership and ensure designs are scalable, secure, and aligned to programme outcomes.

You will balance new capabilities with legacy systems, work across federated environments and engage senior stakeholders to support informed investment decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Solution Architect or senior lead in complex digital environments.
• Ability to lead end-to-end solution design across multiple workstreams.
• Architectural leadership across programme and system levels.
• Strong data, analytics, and spatial technology background.
• Experience with cloud-native and hybrid architectures and APIs.
• Interoperability across federated environments and governance.
• Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and governance forums.
• Experience with security, privacy and data protection considerations.

Responsibilities

• Define and guide end-to-end solution architectures across initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership across multiple workstreams.
• Develop, communicate and assure solution designs through governance.
