Job summary

Farmers Trading Company Ltd in Paraparaumu is seeking a hands-on Sales and Service Manager to lead a department within our store. You will drive sales, coach staff, and collaborate with VM to ensure visual standards are met end-to-end.

The role is permanent and full-time, requiring weekend work and flexible hours. You will foster exceptional customer service, manage stock and merchandising, and contribute to loss prevention while building a positive team culture.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in a similar position (Store Manager small store or Department Manager medium to large store).
• Strong sales coaching competence - proven ability in coaching for sales improvement.
• Excellent team management experience - can motivate and coach a team to improve sales results.

Responsibilities

• Drive department sales and take full ownership for the teams sales performance.
• Manage, coach, develop and motivate team to exceed sales budgets.
• Liaise with VM to ensure all visual elements (banners, windows, hot spots) are in place, on time before store opening.
• Drive a customer service culture across departments by ensuring high levels of customer service.
• Implement & communicate promotional plans for upcoming events.
