Job summary

ALH Auckland is seeking fit, reliable Labourers for multiple long-term roles in the Auckland region, including Avondale, Onehunga and Penrose. We offer immediate starts with generous hours and temp-to-perm opportunities.

You could be on a fast-paced assembly line or refurbishing metal containers, using hand and power tools. Please indicate your location preference, and we’ll match you to the best role for you.

Qualifications

• Previous labouring, factory, assembly line or refurbishment experience is ideal.
• Tool experience is a bonus (drills, grinders, sanders, spray painting equipment).
• Physically fit, able to be on your feet all day and lift up to 25kg repeatedly.
• Comfortable with repetitive manual tasks and working in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Work on an assembly line and keep pace with production targets.
• Handle components, parts and materials using correct manual handling techniques.
• Use hand and power tools such as drills, angle grinders, sanders and wire brushes.
• Clean, prep and refurbish metal work to strict quality standards.
• Work in workshop, factory and outdoor environments.
• Maintain a strong health and safety mindset and a clean workspace.

We’re looking for fit, reliable Labourers to join busy teams across Avondale and Onehunga/Penrose. We have multiple roles available with immediate starts. These are genuine long‑term opportunities for the right people, not just short‑term fills.

You could be working on a fast‑paced assembly line, or restoring and refurbishing metal containers using hand and power tools. Let us know your experience and preferred location, and we’ll match you to the role that suits you best.

The Details

• Locations: Avondale, Onehunga and Penrose
• Pay: $24.50 per hour, weekly pay
• Hours: Day shifts, Monday to Friday. Some roles include Saturday mornings with 50+ hours available
• Type: Full-time, Temp to Perm opportunities
• Start: ASAP

What You’ll Be Doing
