Job summary

Watercare in Auckland is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to support the production of analytical results. You will assist Chemists and Microbiologists with sample preparation, housekeeping, and safe disposal, helping ensure accurate lab outcomes.

Your role involves operating autoclaves and dishwashers, handling samples and reagents, and supporting analysts with supplies and testing. A physically active day is expected in this hands-on role.

Qualifications

• Secondary education to NCEA 3 with an interest in science.
• Methodical approach to work.
• Physical ability to meet the role's demands.
• Proficient in computer use.
