Job summary

Opaa! Food Management is seeking a team-focused kitchen worker to assist with breakfast and lunch service, prep meals per menu, and support occasional catering.

You will help set up serving lines, maintain food temperatures, and ensure clean, organized work areas in a fast-paced cafeteria environment. Responsibilities include stocking supplies, handling basic cash/register tasks, and following HACCP procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, preferred; or up to one month related experience, training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to write simple correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Set up serving lines daily and ensure food is held at proper temperatures.
• Prepare foods per menu and recipes; batch cook for quality and presentation.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders, and other equipment with proper certification.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and practice FIFO inventory.
• Assist with cash register, meal reconciliation, and administrative tasks.
