Summerset Retirement Villages in Whangarei is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to support our chefs in delivering nutritious meals to residents and visitors. You will help with food prep, plating, and keeping the kitchen clean and organised, contributing to a smooth, high‑performing kitchen team.
Your day‑to‑day includes basic prep tasks, plating assistance, dishwashing, stock handling and keeping areas compliant.

As a Kitchen Assistant for our Whangarei village, you'll be at the heart of our kitchen's day-to-day operations. Your support will help ensure our chefs can deliver nutritious, high-quality meals to our residents and visitors. This is a permanent part-time role working a roster of, Monday and Tuesday, 10.30am to 7.00pm.
