Job summary

Fulton Hogan is seeking a Junior Environmental Advisor to support the Central Otago HSQES team. You will spend about three days per week on site with operational crews, helping meet environmental standards and drive continuous improvement in our projects.

The role offers practical field experience, learning opportunities, and a chance to grow within an infrastructure and environmental management context in New Zealand.

Qualifications

  • A tertiary qualification in Resource Management Planning or Environmental Management.
  • Experience applying environmental regulations and compliance.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the region to implement environmental systems, processes and sustainability commitments.
  • Carry out site visits, environmental assessments and audits, identifying risks and practical ways to reduce environmental impact.
  • Prepare and monitor environmental management plans in line with regulations and company standards.
  • Maintain consent, monitoring and compliance records through the CS-VUE consent compliance database.
  • Work with operational teams to support compliance, contribute to investigations, and provide environmental input into tenders, tailgates and communications.
