New Zealand Police is seeking an Investigator for the Investigation Support Unit based at Counties Manukau DHQ. This permanent, full-time role is nationally advertised (JR: 6066202).

Mō te tūnga | About the role
The Counties Manukau District Investigation Support Unit is responsible for the initial investigation and triage of complaints received online through 105, the Crime Reporting Line and Auror. Investigators will pursue enquiries and evidence gathering into a range of complaint types and engage with complainants to ensure timely and efficient customer service.
As an Investigator ISU, you can expect to gain experience in investigation techniques, interpretation of legislation, preparation of production orders and information requests, exposure to the preparation of search warrants, and the completion of quality prosecution files.
It is a fast-paced environment where there is a large volume of work, so organisation, prioritisation skills, and a ‘can do' attitude are needed.

Utu ā-tau | Salary
This position is covered by a collective agreement and salary will commence between $88,179 and $92,267 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
