Job summary

Queen Margaret College in Wellington is seeking a passionate primary school teacher (Years 1–8) for a fixed-term maternity cover from Term 1 2027 to the end of Term 4 2027. The role requires NZ teacher registration (or progress) and familiarity with the NZ Curriculum and PYP.

You will inspire tamariki, build strong relationships with ākonga and whānau, and contribute to a values-led, inclusive school community in the heart of Wellington.

Qualifications

• An experienced and inspiring educator who sparks curiosity and joy in tamariki.
• Builds positive relationships with ākonga, whānau and the wider community.
• Familiar with the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP).
