New Zealand Government's Health NZ | Te Whatu Ora Waikato invites applications for an Occupational Therapist based at Thames Hospital. The role services the inpatient ward and may support the community team across Hauraki and Thames-Coromandel as required.

You will join a multi-disciplinary team, manage your own referrals and caseload, and training will be provided for Enable housing and wheelchair level 1 accreditation if needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months post-qualification experience.
• Experience in hospital or facility setting preferred.
• Current NZ driver license is required.
• Registration with NZ OT Board is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide OT services to inpatients within Thames Hospital.
• Manage referrals and own caseload as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Support community team coverage across Hauraki and Thames-Coromandel as needed.
• Participation in housing/wheelchair accreditation training if required.
