Job summary

Clarkville Te Kura ki Waimātao in Canterbury, near Christchurch, invites applications for a Certificated teacher to join a highly collaborative teaching team.

You will teach in Year 3–8 spaces, work with one other teacher and about 55 ākonga, and contribute to our growing, student-centred learning culture.

We prioritise strong literacy, mathematics and inquiry programmes, build relationships with ākonga and whānau, and support ongoing professional learning.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of curriculum, pedagogy and assessment to support learner outcomes.
• Strong structured literacy, mathematics and Inquiry programmes.
• Ability to build effective relationships with ākonga and whānau.

Responsibilities

• Teach in Year 3/4, Year 5/6, or Year 7/8 spaces with one other teacher.
• Support a learning community of about 55 ākonga.
