Join our growing Digital & Technology Team!

The Information Security Analyst plays a vital part in helping to keep Kiwibank’s sensitive information secure. The analyst’s role is to ensure that relevant Kiwibank security controls are implemented and managed in a balanced way to ensure security risks are adequately mitigated as per the Information Security Policy. The role is also tasked with assisting the wider security team in identifying opportunities to improve process efficiencies and security controls and to be involved in the day‑to‑day management, monitoring and reporting of security controls.

Key skills and experience we’re looking for
  • Previous exposure to IT security within a business setting and a keen interest in cyber security
  • Data collection and analysis experience: Identify, collect, and analyse data from multiple sources to gain insights, trends, gaps and improvements.
  • Knowledge of computer and network systems, devices and software
  • Active commitment to continually learning and improving; knowledge of own personal strengths, weaknesses, and openness to feedback
  • Analytical ability to break down problems into constituent parts
  • Financial Services (or other control‑based industry) background is desirable
