Orbit Marketing NZ is seeking friendly Brand Ambassadors to host sampling stations in Hamilton supermarkets and, on select shifts, perform live cooking demonstrations to showcase products in action.
You’ll pour, plate, and chat with shoppers, turning samples into opportunities while keeping a tidy, hygienic station. Training is provided, plus flexible shifts to fit study or other commitments.
Orbit Marketing is an established marketing agency bringing some of the world's best-loved food and beverage brands to life inside New Zealand supermarkets. We specialise in in-store product sampling and cooking demonstrations, creating genuine, tasty moments that turn a weekly shop into a discovery. Our Hamilton team works across major supermarkets including Woolworths, New World, and Pak'nSave.
We're currently building out our casual team of Brand Ambassador's, and we're looking for warm, food and drink-loving people to host sampling stations inside Hamilton supermarkets. Roughly half our shifts are straight product sampling—pouring, plating, and offering shoppers a taste while sharing what makes the product special. The other half are live cooking demonstrations, where you'll prepare simple dishes in-store to show a product in action.
You can do both, or focus on the type that suits you best. To give you a sense of the variety: in this month alone our team will be running demos for the Wattie's Frozen Meals campaign and pouring samples for Celsius —two very different shifts, both equally important.
A sampling shift might involve pouring chilled drinks into tasting cups, plating bite-sized portions, and chatting with curious shoppers. A cooking shift adds a portable hotplate and a simple recipe you'll prepare live. Either way, you'll keep your station clean, inviting, and food-safe throughout the day.
Mostly Wednesday to Sunday, with flexibility to choose your own availability. Demos typically run during peak shopping hours (late morning through early afternoon on weekends, and mid afternoon to early evenings on weekdays).
