Stantec’s Water team in New Zealand is seeking an experienced Hydraulic Modeller to join our growing national modelling community. You will work on water supply, wastewater and stormwater projects, developing robust network models and collaborating with diverse project teams across the region.

Our water focus covers the management of drinking water, wastewater, stormwater, and groundwater as a collective resource. Finding solutions to our water challenges is crucial, and our diverse local network of over 360 water specialists collaborates and innovates to ensure the best outcomes are achieved.
With substantial project wins and an extensive backlog of work, we have an opportunity for an experienced hydraulic modeller with a background in water supply, stormwater, or wastewater to join the team. This is an exciting opportunity to help further build our national modelling team, which unites our 3 Waters modelling capabilities. You will have the opportunity to work on significant projects both nationally and internationally, and with a diverse range of project teams.
You will have a relevant Bachelor’s degree, 3 years working experience and be fluent with InfoWorks ICM, as well as GIS packages such as ArcGIS. Experience in other software is desirable but not essential. Experience with data analytics, coding and data visualisation is also desirable. Experience in wastewater is essential; experience in stormwater is desirable. You will need to be progressive, have enthusiasm for innovative thinking and be willing to be actively involved in the wider Asia Pacific Stantec network planning community.
