ARVION SERVICES SDN. BHD. is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead hands‑on technical initiatives in a global fintech setting focused on cross‑border payments. You will drive architecture decisions, modernize platforms, and mentor teams while contributing production‑grade code.

Hybrid role with travel to a Christchurch, New Zealand office as needed, and collaboration with global engineering teams. Strong cloud experience (AWS) and AI‑assisted development are highly valued.

Formación

• Minimum 8 years of delivering production‑grade software end‑to‑end.
• Strong frontend experience with modern frameworks (Vue.js/React).
• Strong backend experience, preferably C#/.NET, others welcome (Java/Kotlin/Go).
• Solid frontend fundamentals: responsive design, accessibility, performance.
• Deep SQL and relational DB knowledge.
• Expertise in architecture, microservices, SOA, and event‑driven systems.
• Proven individual contributor with leadership via design reviews and mentoring.
• Experience using AI tools for development and QA.

Responsabilidades

• Lead engineering strategy for complex initiatives across the stack.
• Define architecture standards and engineering best practices across teams.
• Mentor engineers through technical leadership and reviews.
• Contribute production‑grade code for critical systems.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Compliance, and Eng to translate goals into scalable solutions.
• Drive modernization and cloud‑native migrations, including AI‑assisted tooling.
• Improve system architecture, scalability, performance, and ops.
