Job summary

AMT Southern Ltd is part of the AMT Group providing HVAC servicing and installation across the South Island. The role seeks HVAC qualified or Refrigeration Engineers and/or Registered Electricians for commercial projects, including travel to Dunedin, Invercargill and nearby sites.

Ideal candidates will have strong industry knowledge, be physically fit, reliable, and able to work independently or in teams. NZ residency or valid work visa is required.

Qualifications

• ;Be physically fit and able to pass pre-employment drug screening.
• ;Ability to follow instructions and work autonomously and in a team.
• ;Punctual and reliable with excellent work ethic.
• ;Competent with technology; Simpro experience an advantage for service roles.
• ;Current NZ Drivers Licence and site safety knowledge.
• ;EWP/First aid/Height & Harness qualifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and maintain HVAC, ventilation and ducting systems in commercial environments.
• Carry out site measures, readings, and drawings for manufacture where required.
• Interpret plans, schematics and specifications.
• Travel to and work across Otago/Southland/Central regions as needed.
