Job summary

Dynamic Group Ltd is seeking 4 skilled HVAC professionals to join our service team across Auckland, Hawkes Bay, Wellington. Auckland will be the main base with travel required to other regions; all travel and accommodation costs will be covered.

Role involves installing HVAC systems, coordinating with other trades, testing and commissioning, and maintaining safety standards. Start date is immediate; pay rate is $35–$45 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant work experience or a relevant qualification.
• A Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in any field will be acceptable.
• Strong fault-finding skills and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to health and safety.
• Full NZ Driver’s Licence is beneficial for this role.

Responsibilities

• Check that fittings, ducts, and piping are inspected and approved before installation.
• Prepare and organise tools and equipment required for installation work.
• Read and follow shop drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Install HVAC systems and components, including ducting and chilled water piping.
• Coordinate work with other trades on site to ensure smooth installation.
• Monitor own work to ensure it meets quality standards and safety requirements.
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and use protective equipment correctly.
• Assist with testing of systems, including duct leakage tests and pressure testing of piping.
• Support commissioning activities, including testing, balancing, and adjusting systems.
• Identify faults or issues and report them to supervisors.
• Maintain basic records of work completed and report daily progress.
• Attend site meetings when required.
