Oceania is seeking a part-time Housekeeper for The Oaks Village in Christchurch. You will join a dedicated team responsible for cleaning, laundry, and maintaining communal living spaces.

This role requires a friendly, safety-minded individual who can work rostered hours, including evenings and weekends. Ideal candidates bring housekeeping experience, chemical handling knowledge, and strong communication skills.

The role

Our The Oaks Village in Christchurch are looking for a part-time Housekeeper to join their dedicated team.

What you’ll be doing:

• Assisting with all aspects of cleaning and laundry services
• Cleaning the residents communal and living spaces
• Following set policies and procedures to ensure sites areas are sanitised, safe, and hazard free
• Enjoying a role with plenty of variety.

What you’ll bring:

• Experience in a housekeeping or cleaning position
• Knowledge and experience in chemical handling
• Strong communication skills
• Teamwork focus
• A friendly nature, with respect for our residents
• A passion for ensuring a safe environment
• Strong eye for detail
• The ability to work on a rostered shift basis which may include evenings and weekends.
