Job summary

Access Community Health – Blenheim invites compassionate people to join our team as kaiāwhina, supporting tāngata in their own homes with daily living activities while respecting culture, beliefs, and routines. No qualifications or prior experience required.

We provide comprehensive paid training, flexible hours, weekend shifts with extra pay, and paid travel time plus mileage. A smartphone and rights to work in New Zealand are expected; a driver’s license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support tāngata with their individual care needs and daily living activities—no qualifications or prior experience required.
• Provide safe, respectful, person-centered support in people’s homes, mindful of culture, values, routines and boundaries.
