Nga Tawa is seeking an enthusiastic and creative educator to lead our creative industries.

Our current head of creative industries has made a significant contribution to the development and success of creative industries at Nga Tawa, establishing a strong and engaging programme. As she moves into retirement, we are looking for a special person to continue the growth and success of the department.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher who is looking to take the next step into a middle management leadership role.

You will be required to teach in some of the following areas:

  • Photography
  • Digital technology
  • Design and visual communication

Please indicate your particular areas of strength and expertise in your application.

About you

Are you an educator who:

  • Is passionate about creative industries and enthusiastic about sharing this passion with students.
  • Has strong skills and experience in one or more relevant arts or technology disciplines.
  • Has excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Is organised and able to manage the responsibilities of a middle management role.
